"The Gorman family’s evacuation from Galveston Island to Lafayette was challenging and exhausting. Reformulating a household, selecting furnishings, fabrics, colors and "pulling it all together” so that each family member feels at home requires an exceptional skill-set. Judy Dunn and her able staff provided scholarly advice, personal encouragement and a stunning result as good as or better than the "best of the best”. Our Model D Steinway and an assortment of other musical instruments are close at hand to play with well done integration into our décor.
More important was Dunn’s Designs' attention to creating a special environment for our special adult daughter, Caroline. Thoughtful consideration to the challenged takes a special gift and once again Judy and her staff delivered the good. We are appreciative of Judy’s verve, energy and creativity. Our household is harmonious, in all spectra, and when a musical crescendo is crisply heard or a soft melody revisited, one knows that Judy Dunn listened without fail and delivered a well done outcome, much better than promised. We miss Island life but thanks to Judy and her staff, and the lovely reception we’ve received from our neighbors in Lafayette, we’re here to stay!"
